An international human rights lawyer by background (LLM, University of Essex, 2002), Timur Abdullaev has more than fifteen years of professional experience in human rights and law. Being a person living with HIV and a TB survivor, Timur knows the value of personal experience of the disease, and he is committed to create a vibrant community movement of people affected by the diseases. He has been instrumental in mobilizing the global community of people with experience of TB, which for many years was seen as mission impossible. A recognized international activist and community leader, Timur continues his professional career of a human rights and public health consultant, working with a wide range of international development agencies and NGOs.
